Hi there! I'm Felicia, the owner and Registered Dietitian behind PorrazzaNutrition. In addition to being a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, I am also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer with a Masters Degree in Dietetics Administration.
Outside of my business, I teach nutrition at Bucks County Community College both online and face-to-face. In my spare time, I love to knit, make string art, test new recipes, and keep active.
PorrazzaNutrition is all about bringing accessible wellness solutions to YOU through in-home and virtual nutrition and fitness services. This means you can show me products you have questions about, have me there to guide you through a new recipe, or schedule a workout session to revamp your fitness routine.
I work primarily with clients trying to incorporate a plant-based style of eating for preventative health and disease management. My specialty is in combining plant-based eating with fitness programming, specifically targeting strength-training. As someone who is working towards a personal goal of increased strength, I am passionate about helping others do the same with the support of efficient plant-based fueling and optimized workout routines.
I have run multiple programs within my business including: cooking classes, support groups, walking groups, and nutrition seminars. I found that through all of my experience, healthy living boils down to a few key points: motivation, consistency, and commitment to a long-term healthy lifestyle change.
With that, I don't promote "dieting" or weight-loss supplements/pills since these approaches can be dangerous and do not last long-term.
I focus on giving my clients the tools to eating healthy versus a one-size-fits-all "diet" plan. I want to give you the freedom to choose the foods that you love, while keeping a wellness frame of mind. I am all about building a foundation of healthy eating and exercise behaviors that will leave you feeling satisfied and on track with your goals.
